One of our most prominent outreach efforts is our annual “Equipment Rodeo and Interactive Career Fair,” which attracts hundreds of high school and college students who spend the day with us learning the industry—including trying their hand at operating heavy equipment! The event aims to show young people the financial stability and rewarding career opportunities in construction. This initiative addresses the declining number of young workers entering the construction field, where a significant labor shortage has been reported, and highlights the industry’s potential for lifelong career growth compared to the service sector.

in Valley, Nebraska

In 1972, our founder Del Chapin named the company after Valley, Nebraska, the town where his lakeside vacation home was located. Valley is 30 miles west of Omaha and combines small-town charm with amenities with proximity to Nebraska’s largest city.

Our large campus features the headquarters, training facility, massive storage buildings, and ample space for our heavy equipment.
